Scandal follows the story of Olivia Pope, professional fixer in the Washington, DC area who, along with her team of gladiators, work to cover up the scandals of their high-level clients that include senators, congressmen, and even the vice president. But while Liv is working hard to cover up the mishaps of those around her, she's also trying her best to cover up her own scandal - she is in love and having an affair with the president of the United States.
