A group of heroes work to save the world from villains that are getting more powerful and more ruthless. The problem is that some villains walk among the rest, posing as friends and allies. This rendition brings to life the Marvel Comics graphic novels that bear the same name. The S.H.I.E.L.D. agency was formed after a fierce battle known as the "Battle of New York" where alien "Avengers" fought. With the city almost destroyed in the battle, the agency rose to fight back and protect the human race against these super villains with super powers by recruiting agents who also have their own super abilities.
