Hong Kong firefighters in the Pillar Point division were only planning to quietly celebrate their chief's retirement. But when a liquor warehouse near a natural gas power plant catches on fire, threatening the entire city's power supply, these firefighters undergo a test of their trust in one another while struggling to contain the blaze. Eventually, coworkers begin to fall, pertinent advice is thrown to the wayside and questionable actions are taken, stirring up a whirlwind of misgivings, conflicts and politics.
