In 1980s-era New England, a family gathers for a get-together over Memorial Day Weekend. Although this is supposed to be a joyous family event, the strong personalities of several people soon begin to clash. After years of not being in close proximity to one another, it becomes clear just how fractured these relationships are. As the weekend unfolds, several family members find it increasingly difficult to be in one another's company. Can the volatility and hostility be kept to a minimum before everyone goes their separate ways, or is this getaway weekend destined to drive this family even further apart?
