Rachel Bailey and Janet Scott are female detectives who are more than partners, they are friends. They definitely watch each other's backs and listen to the other friends man troubles. Scott's husband often complains about her work, her mother and many other things. Bailey has many dating problems and the women often discuss this over drinks when they are not chasing down criminals. The detectives are secure in their jobs but their personal lives leave much to be desired. Often, it's more comforting to confront dangerous criminals and chase down scumbags than deal with their home lives.
