Thomas Jane lives a relatively stable life now that he has slowed all of his racing adventures to a full stop; however, his day takes a disastrous turn when a robber disguised as a driving student hijacks Jane's car at gunpoint. Jane is forced to take part in a theft with millions of dollars on the line, and he is not very happy. Hilarity ensues as Jane and the criminal John Cusack take a road trip together, avoiding cops and arguing every chance they get.
