It's been more than 300 years since the San Andreas Fault created an earthquake that shattered the land. It sits like a ticking time bomb. No one knew when that next big earthquake would arrive. When it does, a helicopter pilot that works for search and rescue will travel with his estranged wife 400 miles north through the destroyed land to try to find their daughter in San Francisco. Along the way, they will face merciless nature and guide the helpless as they try to bring their family back together.
