Five people's stories are connected by a locker. Each locker in the respective story is labeled Locker 13. The main character Skip begins working for ?Gunsight Pass?, a western theme park. While working, Skip discovers that locker 13 has strange properties. Amidst this discovery, Skip's supervisor Archie begins helping Skip discover himself through the stories of four individuals. The stories Archie uses contain a large range of characters. The characters include a new recruit into a business society that can have violent initiations, a boxer down on his luck wanting a chance to be champion, an assassin trying to discover who hired him for a hit job and a member of a suicide club showing a man about to jump to his death how to appropriately kill himself. The four stories are interwoven in the end, when Skip must make a monumental decision.
