Sheriff Walt Longmire decides to return to work after his wife dies. He is faced with the task of solving major crimes that have occurred within his jurisdiction. As he works towards that goal, he must also prepare himself to run for re-election. He gets help from the people who are closest to him. Those people include his daughter and a good friend, who he trusts. A new deputy offers her help as well. The fight for the Sheriff?s seat might be a difficult one though. His opponent works within the department and wants to obtain the job for himself.
