During each episode, the forensic anthropologist Dr. Temperance Brennan, affectionately called Bones, leads an investigative team through the logical sequencing of evidence. Focusing on scientific parameters and deductive reasoning rather than emotional responses and hunches, Bones examines human remains and solves the mysteries behind them. Often a murder is resolved in the process. However, even though she is extremely intelligent, she tends to view the world in a literal sense. Bones? team, which includes an FBI agent, a forensic artist, a psychologist, a pathologist and an entomologist,also double as her foils as they guide her through the nuances of social interactions.
