The three main characters (and thus the focus of the film) are all very different people from very different backgrounds who share one thing in common: They're all participants in a sex addiction support and recovery group. As one might predict, the main characters all get crushes on each other, and it is within this tangled web that Thanks for Sharing plays out, as the three main characters attempt to negotiate life, love, and the Twelve Steps.
