DaVinci's Demons follows famed inventor Leonardo DaVinci at the age of 25, when he becomes involved in a search for the mystical Book of Leaves. Guided by the "Child of Earth," DaVinci unlocks his mind to create inventions and weapons to aid him on his quest. In the meantime, he becomes involved in the politics of the day, including having to deal with the Medicis and the secret societies that are destroying themselves through an undeclared war. He also has to deal with an antagonistic relationship with his own father, a man with plenty of secrets of his own.
