Centered in the mythical land of Westeros, "Game of Thrones" is a character study of numerous houses, or families, vying for control of the realm. The Iron Throne sits in King's Landing, currently held by King Robert and Queen Cersei. When King Robert suddenly dies, all eyes turn to the Iron Throne and battles begin.
