Doctor Who is a science fiction series by the BBC. This show is not only a science fiction program, but it is also contains a bit of horror, drama, action, and romance. This show follows the the numerous adventures of an type of alien called a Time Lord, known as the Doctor. The Doctor comes across many companions who he brings along with him to various places through out all of time and space. the Doctor's affinity for the human race becomes apparent as he does everything within his willpower to protect the Earth and the human race. Although the Doctor's liking for the human race us obvious, the Doctor tries his best to save not only humans, but other races in all parts of the galaxy as well. Because of all his interactions with all manners of species, the Doctor is often known as a great hero (or sometimes a feared one) through out time.
