Nikita is a young woman who is spared the death penalty as part of a secret government program to recruit troubled youths as secret agents. The agency, known only as the Division, offers Nikita a second chance and the opportunity to serve her country. After the Division fakes her death, Nikita begins to train as an operative. Things aren't always so idyllic though, when a young man Nikita has fallen for ends up murdered, and all signs point back to The Division. In response Nikita goes into hiding for several years, but now she has resurfaced to seek her retribution against the people who trained her. Nikita will have to do battle not only with her former employers however, but with numerous operatives they've recruited since Nikita went rogue.
