Olivia Pope is a professional fixer-upper. She fixes problems before her clients know they exist. As an ex-employee of the president as White House Communications Director, she is well known for her talents with damage control. She currently has her own crisis management firm and employs a litigator, a lawyer, an investigator, and an ex-CIA agent. They are all very loyal to Olivia because she's helped them each on either a personal or professional level. The five of them work hard to save reputations and keep peace in Washington, but have trouble doing the same with their personal lives. Every new crisis brings a challenge and the toughest to deal with may be their own.
