Web Therapy follows therapist Fiona Wallace and her unique therapy practice. A former finance executive, she quit her job to become a therapist after she came up with a new version of counseling. Rather than the usual sessions that are an hour or longer, Fiona counsels her patients with web therapy. The sessions are conducted via webcam and last a mere three minutes. The theory behind this is that unnecessary emotion is avoided in the sessions and results can be received more quickly by her patients. She broadcasts them on the web in hopes of gaining the attention of potential investors, which will allow her to take her practice worldwide.
