The Unforgettable follows police detective Carrie Wells, who has the medical condition of hyperthymesia. This is defined as the ability to visually remember everything a person sees, more commonly referred to as a photographic memory. This ability allows Detective Wells an uncanny edge when it comes to solving police investigations. The only thing she has difficulty remembering is what exactly happened on the day her sister was murdered. By working with the police department, she is hoping to crack that one mystery that remains in her life.
