In the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic, a billionaire tech entrepreneur invites a group of friends to play a murder mystery theater game at his seaside villa in Greece. When the co-founder of a rising alternative fuel startup is found dead during the party, eccentric detective Benoit Blanc is summoned from the deep within the American South to investigate. As he goes about snooping on the wealthy guests, Blanc uncovers a ridiculous blackmail plot gone wrong, and this is when he realizes that the killer probably has a list of persons who could be the next set of murder victims.
