After the boxing career of Father Stu is brought to an end by an injury, he moves to find fame and money in Los Angeles. He begins to work as a supermarket clerk in the city. During his daily routines, he comes across Carmen, she was his Sunday school teacher. He tries to seduce her using his teenage charm, but Carmen does not fall for his tricks. Since he is determined to win her heart, he begins going to church. Unfortunately, he is involved in a bad accident that makes him to change his mind and becomes a catholic priest.
