Aaron Falk makes a return to his hometown in order to attend a funeral for a resident who died tragically. However, shortly before his arrival, the community finds itself facing a serious drought which threatens the way of life of the community that he called home. In addition to the adverse weather conditions, Falk finds himself in a position to solve a decades-old murder that rocked the town years ago.
