The Nevers is a science fiction drama based on the concept of people in Victorian-era London, mostly women, gaining extraordinary powers. Amalia True and Penance Adair are among this number, running a secret shelter for others like them out of the orphanage that they live in. Amalia's ability to see briefly into the future aids the pair in finding other gifted people, known as The Touched. With an unstable Touched, a mad doctor, and the British Empire serving as obstacles, the duo must survive in this volatile environment and discover their true calling.
