Ainbo is loosely based on a true story about the Amazon Rainforest and its indigenous people who protect it. The hero, a young indigenous girl, has two spirit guides; Dillo the armadillo and Vaca, a tapir. She learns of an illegal mining operation that threatens the hush landscape where her people reside. A demon, Yacuruna, also threatens the land. The hero also gets help from mythological creatures she meets in her travels.
