In Connecting Flights, Englishman Donald Barlow wants to find his father, a Canadian serviceman who served in England during World War II. Once Barlow?s mother passed away, Barlow hires a detective agency to find his father. Once found, the former serviceman denies he could be his father and does not want to meet him. Barlow?s daughter, who is a journalist, goes to meet her grandfather, but not reveal who she is. When she takes her son along, the boy inadvertently reveals information that allows his great-grandfather know uncover the deception.
