Daniel "Hondo" Harrison is torn between two worlds. As a SWAT lieutenant, he is committed to his brothers in the police force. However, Harrison also has ties to the street, which is sometimes at odds with the police force. Harrison is an effective and tactical leader. He encourages open communication between those on this team and coaches them to use violence and aggressive tactics only as a last resort. Like Harrison, the men and women in his unit are bold, brave, and committed to their duties.
