Mourning her mother's untimely death, a young Irish woman named Pixie vows to avenge her murder, escape her crime boss stepfather, and move to the United States. After a botched attempt at robbery to bankroll her dream, Pixie teams up with two amateur swindlers who have unwittingly gained possession of a priceless bag of drugs. Things get complicated as the trio finds themselves the targets of blood-thirsty gangsters who also happen to be Catholic priests and nuns. As we follow the unlikely band of misfits through the Irish countryside, a thrilling blend of comedy and violence ensues.
