Danny is a brilliant teenager whose love for inventing earns him a spot in an elite academy. There he finds himself among other genius kids who are on his level. That includes his roommate, the brainy Liz. Despite his brilliant mind, Danny?s teacher?s think he?s dull in comparison to the other high-IQ students. To prove his worth, Danny tries to repair a broken nuclear particle accelerator and unwittingly opens a portal to another dimension inhabited by monsters. The monsters come pouring into our world and now Danny and Liz must match their wits against beasts from beyond.
