Arthur Bretnik is a washed-up homicide detective living in a crummy trailer. He takes on low-ball private investigator gigs to eke out a living. He is psychologically scarred by a car accident that killed his daughter and left his wife in a coma. Bretnik gets involved in the investigation of a young woman who died mysteriously in a small town called Wander. Weird things happen there. An ardent conspiracy theorist, he believes the young woman?s death is connected to the accident that killed his own daughter. His investigation leads to a rabbit hole of conspiracy-driven paranoia that may be real.
