Marquis is a pilot, flying his family home for his father's funeral. He loses control of his plane and crash-lands in rural Appalachia. Marquis is wounded and knocked unconscious and when he awakens, he finds himself in the attic of Hoodoo practitioner Ms. Eloise. She has a plan to heal Marquis's injuries, using a Boogity man made from Marquis's skin and blood. To free himself and his family, Marquis must release himself from Eloise's spell before the next Blood Moon rises.
