Hidden deep within the hidden hills of Colombia, there exists a secret place called an Encanto. And each person who lives there has received very powerful magical gifts - all except one person, that is. Mirabel is the only member of her family who does not possess the special power to heal others. But when a sinister force makes its presence known, threatening the Encanto, it quickly becomes clear that Mirabel's ordinariness may be just what the family needs in order to escape the clutches of evil and survive.
