A young woman named Mary has been diagnosed with post-traumatic stress disorder after doing time in prison for attacking a serial killer who also happened to be her boyfriend. Mary suffers from extreme paranoia and delusions as a result of these events. Thankfully, Mary's ex is still in jail after surviving severe burns from the attack. After struggling to start over, Mary finds a job as a clerk at a remote gas station working the graveyard shift. Although Mary's parole officer and her boss have no idea that Mary has problems recognizing reality, she knows that it's a problem she can't escape. When strange and terrifying things start to happen around the gas station, Mary must try to puzzle through each event even as her ability to recognize reality worsens.
