A London music promoter travels to the Cornish village of Port Isaac. On a dare, his colleagues challenge him to convince a group of local salty fishermen to record their traditional sea songs for an album. While spending time in the quaint south England location, the promoter falls in love with the daughter of a local fisherman. Based on the true story of 10 Cornish fishermen who were offered a $1 million contract to record a one-time album of ancient fishing songs.
