A team of TV paranormal detectives are all about the show and have little or no real-life experience in investigating haunted houses and other kinds of strange phenomena. Their producers send them on a quest to check out the most haunted houses in Mexico. However, they soon discover that ghosts and evil forces of the dark are for real. With no skill or experience to handle otherworldly forces, the reality show stars must now find a way to survive the most frightening and harrowing experiences of their lives. The chances they will make it out alive are not exactly good.
