Riz is a young woman who comes to the United States to escape a life of petty crime she lived in India. She wants to start anew and walk a straight line. The manager of a run-down motel gives her a job as a housekeeper. Riz lives on starvation wages but is happy to be doing honest work. However, she soon gets drawn into a criminal drug deal thanks to a persuasive roommate. She convinces Riz to help with a scheme that goes dangerously wrong. A tense and dark drama featuring the struggles of a young immigrant woman who wants to be good but gets involved with bad people.
