"Clifford the Big Red Dog" focuses on a middle school girl named Emily-Elizabeth. Emily-Elizabeth has been dealing with issues at her school, including rejection by her peers on a daily basis. Her situation ends up changing for the better when she wanders into a tent filled with animals at a carnival. While she's there, she finds a small red puppy who she names Clifford. When she takes him in, she's not expecting any miraculous changes. However, when she wakes up, she notes that the puppy is now enormous! The movie follows the adventures and misadventures that these two go through.
