Big Little Lies focuses on a group of women who seemingly lead the perfect lives. Set in Monterey, the small-town destination for silicon valley elites, the mothers of the premiere bayside elementary school Otter Bay center their lives around their children. When a new kid arrives within the same span an undercurrent of violence seems to descend upon the school, the parents have to question if this is a coincidence, or if there could be room for coincidences in a town like Monterey. Forced to confront themselves, these dynamic women must admit their lives may be less than idyllic.
