Phil doesn't have friends. He doesn't go out at all. Instead, he just goes to work every day, writes listicles so that his employer can increase website traffic hits and then returns home. He spends almost all of his free time on his phone. When he's forced to upgrade his phone, Phil's offered the opportunity to use a new virtual assistant and life coach named Jexi. Jexi teaches Phil how to conquer his phone addiction and live life. Yet, when Phil starts leaving Jexi at home alone and loses his dependency on both his phone and her, he learns the hard way just how much Jexi is alone and addicted... to him.
