During the holiday season, a man named Steve kidnaps another man and holds him captive in his basement. Soon, Steve's brother Matt and Matt's wife Karen arrive at Steve's house for a surprise visit. They discover Steve's prisoner and find out that Steve believes the man in his basement is the devil. Matt and Karen must try to help Steve, and prevent him from hurting his prisoner, while deciding if Steve is delusional or if he has indeed trapped the devil.
