Wendy has the perfect summer job. She's a part-time ranger in a gorgeous state park. The job is pretty uneventful until the end of the season. Wendy feels like she's not appreciated by the other staff who thinks she's not up to the more intense aspects of being a ranger. In order to prove herself, she heads out into the backcountry on her own. Unfortunately, a few wrong turns land her deep in the backcountry with no way to contact help. Her situation intensifies when she happens upon a potential crime scene. She's ordered to stay on site to guard any potential evidence, which requires her to spend the night in the wild by herself.
