A young woman possesses strange and supernatural abilities, such as triggering earthquakes with her mind. Her powers are eventually discovered and soon she finds herself on the run, returning to the home and the family she had abandoned years earlier. While there, she reconnects with her loved ones and begins to better understand the mysterious powers that are roiling within her, though she is being hunted by a mysterious man with unknown intentions and pursued by the local authorities.
