South Park is one of the longest-running animated TV shows on the air today. The show title is the name of the fictional town in Colorado where the series takes place. The plot is centered around four young boys and their misadventures around the town of South Park. Stan, Kyle, Eric and Kenny see the world through the innocent eyes of elementary-school children. South Park is marketed towards and written primarily for an adult audience. It uses satire mixed with dark humor to comment on current events. This often includes politics, pop culture and the moral questions of the day.
