The Public is a compelling drama that tackles important issues such as homelessness and mental health. During an unusually cold winter, several people living on the street take refuge inside a public library--adopting it as a temporary home. When tensions start running high between the patrons and the library staff, the situation takes a turn for the worse. What starts out as simple civil disobedience eventually escalates into a situation with the local authorities and quick to judge media coverage.
