Most tourists and other visitors who come to Washington D.C. see a cleaner, better version of the city than the reality found in neighborhoods controlled by the Mara Salvatrucha or MS-13 gang. A teen, 14-year-old Lucas, works for MS-13 and has seen horrors that no child should have to witness. Fearful that his younger brother might also join the gang, Lucas is always on the lookout for opportunities to take his brother away from the life. Daniel, a mute addict and an ex-marine who served in Afghanistan, owns a body shop in the neighborhood and regularly buys Oxycontin from Lucas to feed his addiction. When MS-13 target Lucas after he's placed into an impossible situation to try to save his brother's life, Lucas turns to Daniel for help as this world of crime and violence comes crashing down around him.
