Geologist Kristian Eikjord and his family survived the tsunami that wiped out Geiranger, Norway, but now he's racing against time to save his family from another natural disaster - the major earthquake he believes will strike Oslo. In 1904, Oslo experienced a major quake of 5.4 on the Ricther scale. Eikjord knows it can happen again and when one of his colleagues dies investigating a highway tunnel incident, the geologist entrenches himself in the race to save lives. Haunted by the faces of those lost in tsunami and traumatized by experiencing it, Eikjord fights internal demons to save Oslo's residents.
