With a new generation on the rise, the town of Mystic Falls gains some new protectors. Spin-off of The Vampire Dairies and The Originals, 2018 American television drama series Legacies is set two years after the events in The Originals. Seventeen-year-old orphan Hope Mikaelson, daughter of Klaus Mikaelson and Hayley Marshall, is a descendent of some of the most powerful vampire, werewolf, and witch bloodlines known. Attending the Salvatore School for the Young and Gifted, Hope, Alaric Saltzman's twins Lizzie and Josie, and others, who are coming of age as witches, vampires and werewolves, must learn from ancient folklore to fight villains and keep the world at a balance.
