One young lawyer's life takes a completely different turn when he eschews the regular money-making jobs and heads south to pursue justice. Targeting criminal justice reform, he starts with prisoners who are on death row. It's not long before he realizes that some of the people waiting to be executed are actually innocent. And as outside forces look on, threatening his very existence, he seeks justice for those whose voices are not usually heard.
