Killjoys is a science fiction show centering around a group of planets and moons called the Quad. One of the planets in the system is ruled by the Nine Families, while one of the moons is a rough and tumble mining colony. The three main characters are employed by the R.A.C (Recovery and Apprehension Coalition) as space bounty hunters, known as Killyjoys, who hunt criminals and bad guys who have outstanding warrants. Dutch, raised to be a deadly assassin by her mysterious father, is trying to outrun her past with her best friend, John Jaqobis. Joining them is John?s brother, D'avin.
