Two supposed brothers, Nick and Sam, embark on cross country drive through a barren American landscape. Doubts soon arise as to whether these two are actually brothers or have a different, hidden relationship to one another. Sam introduces himself to everyone they meet as Jeremiah. Nick is a rugged, quiet young man who always cryptic with his answers. This simple drive soon turns into a non-linear, dark mystery of who they are, where they are, and where they are going.
