Jay Bahadur, an aspiring Canadian journalist, ventures to Somalia to pursue information for a book on the renowned pirates in the country. Soon after arriving in Somalia, he unexpectedly becomes associated with some of these powerful individuals and has the opportunity to interview them. These interviews provide Jay with unique information never accessed by western journalists previously. Jay?s involvement with the pirates grows, and he travels to the coasts to investigate further. One thing leads to another, and the young journalist finds himself in a complicated and dangerous situation that could ruin his entire investigation.
