Elliot Anderson finds a connection with people through the use of his skills as a computer security expert as he hacks into the accounts of those he wishes to be closer to. Working as an Online security expert at Allsafe, Elliot's activities as a vigilante driven by the hacking he completes because of the many social disorders affecting his personality bring him to the attention of the anarchist, Mr. Robot, and his "fsociety". As Elliot is drawn more deeply into the anarchist group and under the spell of Mr. Robot, he finds himself on the path to hacking the global giant, E. Corp.
